"How much more efficient can we be on singles?" We hear this all the time! Operators are either:
🟨 Batching by aisle or pair of aisles
🟥 Just letting the operator stop the pick when the trip is full
And they're leaving TONS of throughput on the table, particularly in VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) operations. If you have to travel down an aisle, you ultimately have to travel back down another aisle to get back to the dock or drop off. These static rules, while certainly better than pure chaos, are costing you.
